Able to pull a hiking day on the Lunar New Year and off I went.

Did not know Baldy got may be .5 inch of snow! And I have to hike up with my torn bicycle glove to keep hands warm!

Any way the ski hut area was in the cloud all day, and the top was above the cloud and windy. The rain and light snow on Thursday created a nice view on the second half of the hike. Went to the summit and then quick excursion to West Baldy and greeted by the cold wind. Here are fiw pictures.

Even a dusting of snow in the trees is beautiful. Nice photos. There is hope for winter yet.

I was on the Bear Flat trail the next day. The cool icicles in you pictures were still on the mountain but the snow and ice below 9,000' was melting fast. Hopefully we will get more tonight. Winter is Coming (we hope)
