Last Friday I went out to SE of Glacier Point cause ide heard people had seen a mountain lion out there, so i thought ide run out n look around cause i hadnt seen one here yet. Its a real pretty area, different than NE from here which is where i normally run ( "Here" being Yosemite for those of you who dont know still ) . this had easier terrain than the NE, which was greatly appreciated after last weeks 43mi and 27000ft Vogelsang run over rediculously technical stuffs . This day i just took my time, took pix, n checked out the area, I didnt find the mtn lion, but i did find tracks! According to CougarMagic, FRESH trax! (i came across em at about 8-830AM ) which made me pretty happy! :) I will be going to the same place this coming friday and go out befor dawn and maybe he/she will be around still. Anywho, heres some pics of the sunrise and flowers n deer n mtn lion trax, and the GARMIN link to where i was.

no lobsters foo! pfft. goofy :)

@outwhere, ya, its pretty neat out there, its nice to get out of all the granite walls, they look great but can get a little claustrophobic when you live here, i like when i can see far and be in more open land. im going to this area again tomorrow, and a little further, maybe to red peak, I will post pics when i return. (im hoping to get a better camera for xmas too, for better pix.)

If you do see a mountain lion, don't be afraid. It'll attack Melvin first.
