Agnew Meadows to Devils Postpile

Did 3 days in the backcountry near Mammoth Lakes over the 4th of July week.

Headed up the PCT High Trail from Agnew Meadows to Thousand Island Lake, then headed South on the JMT to Rosalie Lake, finally finishing at the Devils Postpile.

Of course when we decided to do this there was a heatwave in Mammoth; what are the odds?! The mosquitoes were horrible as well, but all in all it was a rewarding trip.

Cool trip Marty and spectacular pics, but how dare you call Real McCoy Amber "camp junk."

That pic of Shadow Lake from the High Trail with the Ritter Range is the background is super nice.

Thanks. I think I'll be going back to the Sierras in August and hopefully the mosquitoes won't be as bad.
