"....Rancho Cucamonga police are planning extra enforcement days at the falls area during the summer season, according the San Bernardino County sheriff's department....During the Memorial Day weekend, May 25 to May 27, deputies issued 83 citations, nine written warnings and made one arrest.

Safety is a primary concern in Cucamonga Canyon, deputies said. Since January 2013, there have been at least three rescues in the canyon area near the falls and one fatality, deputies said....."

Havent been out there, but this is how the situation appears to be besides good luck finding legit parking with the hours you want:

Eighty-three arrests for what?? They don't say.

Yeah, it's obvious Cucamonga Falls was doing just fine before big brother showed up.

I hope the folks who took down the windbreaks on Baldy or those removing summit registers are looking at these Cucamonga Falls pictures. They have some real work to do now...
