Ayup, that's good hooch! Where were you able to get it? I've had it on tap at Trappiste in Pasadena when they just happened to get a keg in that day.

"A Scottish brewery claims to have produced the world's strongest beer, Brewmeister's Armageddon, with an alcohol by volume (ABV) of a whopping 65 percent."

I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not...

''Pliney The Elder''
Now on tap at Ladyface Ale Companie in Agoura. If they run out, you can always have a Blind Ambition, Chaparral Saison, or a Chesebro IPA.

Btw, a cool place to have a good beer is Instant Replay in the Valley at the corner of Saticoy and Topanga Cyn. Neighborhood dive type place with 8 craft taps and Tacos Reyes next door. All the regulars are sucking down crap, but they have AleSmith Yule Smith DIPA (9.5% ABV) on tap now during Happy Hour for $5/16 oz. lemonade glass. Screamer deal.

Well, since BP sold to Anheiser Busch, I'm sure their availability will stay good......

I was fortunate enough to win Kern River's lottery so I've got some Citra IIPA in the fridge!

Speaking of beer, anyone seen Sierra Nevada Celebration this season?

I'm striking out, and usually it is everywhere.

Shang- check Total Wine if you've got one nearby. They seemingly have everything.

I grabbed some at BevMo last week. But usually Von's/Ralph's/CVS is dependable for something that is so well-distributed. There were only a few cases left at BevMo.

Necro once again.... I picked up a couple when I drove past Mt Shasta last month. I had a Mountain High IPA and a Jalapeño Ale.

I wouldn't get the jalapeno again, the IPA was nice. I waited until I got home before enjoying, it was cold camping so I had scotch for that.

I'll try to announce next time I drive up there so I can take orders.

No. Jalapeños are the new bacon.

This thread reminds me of the old joke about the similarity between bacon and sex: when their good, they're both really, really good. And when they're bad...their both still pretty darn good.?
