Anyone one ever camped overnight on Mt. Lowe Peak, and is it legal with the Forest Service?

I have never camped there, but yes, It is legal to camp anywhere in National Forest unless otherwise posted. It is known as dispersed camping. You can read about it here: http://www.fs.usda.gov/detailfull/fishl ... width=full

Cheers

Edit: The link is for the Fishlake National Forest, but I believe it to apply to Angeles National Forest as well. I cannot find the proper link at the disaster the USFS calls a website.

Not sure what your plans are, but I'd imagine Mount Lowe would be a bit exposed and windy. If you were looking for a developed campsite nearby there's this one:

But if you camp on the peak, let us know how it is :)
