Iron Mtn first timer

Dec 22: Started at 6:00AM....summit around noon (40mph wind and COLD). Stayed for a while.....back to parking lot at Heaton around 5:00PM.

Wow, I've read how tough this one is, but still, it was surprisingly so. I think it's more difficult than Mt Whitney. Several miles of 40% grade and a number of "roller coasters"??? Definitely wasn't expecting that stuff. All in all, very happy to have done it....but may not do it again. BRUTAL
