Does anyone know what happened to the logbook on top of Mount Islip? I was up there over the weekend and discovered that someone had removed the cached logbook; I was thinking about putting another one up there this weekend.

I've never seen a log/register up there that I can recall. When's the last time you saw one up there?

Yea, June sounds about right. I heard from some people I met on trail that some people have been taking the registrars to preserve them and other had been trashing/stealing them. The said that the people that are taking them for preservation is trying to keep the other mentioned group from destroying them. Either way I think that the summit register needs to be replaced on Islip and I just might have to make a trip to home depot so that I can be the person that replaces it.
