Hiked up to Jones Peak. Trail is in great shape. I was the first car in the parking lot and when I got back it was full (a rather large group was on the trail when I was heading back down).

Very few flowers, no bugs (at least early in the morning), no spider webs across the trail, no bears, nobody else on trail on the way up.

Pics.

Fight On's crap is what you get for bagging a peak :D...Jones Peak no less, the scourge of the front range's summer fry peaks.

 Hey! Jones Peak is my go to short notice, quick hike. I accept the risks! I'm doing my best to get back into the farther reaches of the hills in hopes of avoiding this guy's crap.

Nice, HikeUp! We were on Jones Peak two or three weeks ago and took the crossover trail to the Mt Wilson Trail. Good conditioning hikes either way you go...
