Steripen, whats your take?

Costco has this for $49. It comes with a bottle and prefilter. What are the opinions on the steripen, and would the traveler be a good deal or go with something else?

Bought one a few weeks ago but haven't opened it yet. Though I have used one and haven't gotten sick so I think it works good.

I've used it in Peru, the Sierras, and Africa. Never have gotten any GI illnesses.

Thanks for the input! I picked one up, it is costco, so if it sucks Ill take it back.
