Route finding to Mescal Canyon

We went looking for a route that would not cross private property from the
Breezy View to Mescal Canyon. Mescal Canyon has a reliable water source so it is a good camp area for horses. I plan on using this route to horse pack intothe San Gabriels from our place at the Breezy View heading west. We travel in the foothill area, parrelling the San G's headed west.
