Search and rescue teams have started a search for a missing hiker in the Chantry/Mt. Wilson area.
The hiker is overdue from a hike on Saturday, 12/31. The hiker is an Asian male approx. 73 y.o. and is believed to have been hiking solo and may have started from Chantry.
Please contact Sierra Madre Search and Rescue @ 626-355-3411 if you think you may have seen an individual fitting this description in the area anytime after 9 a.m. yesterday.

Updated info: Subject is ~140 lbs, 5'6". Reported to be carrying a single hiking stick. Possibly wearing white baseball cap and carrying a light colored daypack.
