:) Hiked up to the Sierra Club Hut Tuesday afternoon and spent the night. It was just about perfect out, a little windy but not tooo cold. More stars out once the sun went down than I had seen in a long time. The snow is going fast, what little is left. All in all, worth the work getting up there to spend a night in one of the nicest spots in the local mountains. :D

Was the hut open on a Tuesday? Or do you mean you camped in the vicinity of the hut?

Just tossed the bags on the ground. The hut was closed midweek, and you can't see the stars from inside anyway. No one else there but myself and the friend I hiked up with. Was very nice and relaxing.
