Throop & Baden Powell

I took the short cut to Windy Gap (7,580' aprox) and hiked to Throop, Baden Powell and back.

To my right

To my left

Lots of Rime Ice too! Even down at Windy Gap. I had icicles forming on the brim of my hood and my water froze. The temperatures dropped down into the low teens with wind chill. I wish I had brought warmer gloves!!

I sat on the summit of Throop watched the clouds and ate my lunch. It was glorious.

Didn't spend to much time on top of Baden Powell it was too cold... but I did get a good picture or two.

I witnessed one of the most amazing sunsets ever that day. Absolutely splendid (and VERY cold!!!)

@michaelmagno - I headed up Saturday the 19th (November). Got on the trail around 11:30am. Were you up there that day? I saw one other set of boot prints but I didn't see anyone...
