missing hikers

Four days ago there was a story in the LA Times about a search for 3 missing hikers in the San Gabes: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2 ... orest.html

What's the latest? Has anybody seen or heard anything?

I belive they where rescued... I wonder if they where following one of chris Brennen's beta's
