Cabin Flats of the San Gabriels

Starting at Inspiration Point we headed out for Cabin Flats. the trip report is with the pictures at my webshots. It was a cool trip. A long trip for a single day, but there is a lot to see along the way. click on the link below for the trip report and current conditions down there.

Thank you for the great images of Prairie Fork. That looks like a beautiful walk from Lupine Campground. Thanks also for the historical comments.

Great trip! Nice photos, and I like hearing the history too. I love the shots of the horse figuring out how to drink from the stream! I hope you post more trip reports.
