Sunday morning we left drizzly L.A. and discovered the Waterman trailhead had 3 feet of snow, blue-bird skies, and sunshine! We peeled off layers and were still overheating on the climb up. A warm storm on Saturday wetted the powder a bit, but the snow was soft and forgiving by the time we descended. We took a straight line down some very steep, very fun glades to ACH. Pulled pork sandwich at Newcomb's.
Sad to think it'll all be gone soon. Enjoy!

Hey Ted --
Is this Buckhorn trail? Wanted to do this within the next few days. Think YakTrax and trail running shoes could handle it?
