Hey everyone-
I really want to get out on a 6 hour or so solo hike tomorrow. I've done almost everything around Wilson and Pasadena and want to avoid driving more than an hour. Anyone have any good suggestions on what would be good (and actually open)?
can someone suggest a hike for me tomorrow?

Iron Mountain. Go as far as you can within your time limit.

Is that the same trailhead as the Bridge to Nowhere hike? I've always wanted to try Iron...that sounds fun.

Yes, same trailhead...Heaton Flat.
Fun? You didn't say anything about fun!
6 hours round trip on Iron is ambitious, but given your 6 hour time limit (plus or minus), you can definitely get far enough to get a taste of how difficult the hike is. It's 7200' and 14 miles round trip if you make it to the peak! Just doing the first half of the hike is an enjoyable hike and a good workout. Bring water.

Have fun. It's a cool hike. If you read this before setting off, bring a tad extra water and cache it before the real steep loose point. You'll know when you get there.
Cheers
