Anybody been up Mt. Humphreys in Arizona? What's the 411 on the best non-technical route up? What about current conditions?
Mucho appreciato.

How much you wanna make a bet I can throw a football over them mountains?... Yeah... Coach woulda put me in fourth quarter, we would've been state champions. No doubt. No doubt in my mind.

Thanks hvydrt. Looks like May is not the best time of year to go.

Depends on the year. I went up in May a few years ago and was fine. Snow was light. It's actually a fairly easy hike because you can drive so high. I summited by about 10:00 AM. Worthwhile summit by the way. I then went via trail to a saddle between Fremont and Aggasiz (if my memory is serving me well), and dropped XC to the Kachina trail and then via the Kachina trail back to the trailhead. The XC was tough but doable and some of the most intersting hiking. Ran into elk. Got really close before they bolted. Pretty cool.
