I'm not sure this is mama and cub, because they didn't travel together. But it is an adult female, and a cub...so...?

Nice footage of our ursine and vulpine neighbors. Was their interest in the boulder coincidental or chemically-assisted?

Yes - there is a mix of animal scent and Obsession on the rock. "Cougarmagic #5"
