Perseids anyone?

Rescues, fires, weather, roads, trails, water, etc.

I'm heading up after 10:00, just not sure where, yet.
Have to go up via Big T, so I'll probably just put a tarp down somewhere.

Anybody heading up? Any suggestions as to primo viewing?
In the past, I've hung out in the parking lot at Red Box.

Don't think that will cut it this year with the detour....

We rolled out the thermarest pads at the big turnout right by the 6000' elevation sign on Angeles Crest last night. Great Show! We saw one BIG meteor pass over head that was like a firework!

It was my wife and 14-year-old daughters first meteor shower and they both dug it.
