thanks Ernie! great to run into you too. my foot felt great and 8 hours later still feels good. so i guess it's safe to say... I'm back! the incarceration is over. happy dance!!!

It took me a week before it dawned on me that Eman posted this thread here - is it because Norma's a "Flower of the wilderness" to be admired or is it because she's starting to show signs of being a "Cougar of the Trail?"

ok, knock it off! this thread needs to be retired. i can take a teasing as well as the next a$$hole, but i hate to be the center of attention.

it feels mighty good to be sprung from the joint and the doc gave me a thumb's up today on the healing that has taken place. so yes, i am back. no big deal. just another hiker who will be pounding the trails and posting (hopefully worthwhile) TR's.

i got a great fix in the Sierra this weekend. my summer finally started!!!
