I went up Baldy early Easter Sunday. The snow was great, firm but not too hard and dry all the way up and most of the way down. The summit was a little breezy, as usual. I had the summit to myself, which only happened to me twice before.

The wind was blowing the clouds around in interesting patterns the whole morning.

Below is an image from Telegraph to Ontario showing a kind of wind blown wave pattern in the clouds. I am not sure what causes that but it was awsome to see.

Summit shot ( Did I mention it was cold and windy? I kept getting a brain freeze headache so I brought out the berka look).

I kept trying to get a good movie of the clouds, but I just coukdn't get it right. Below is a shot from below the bowl looking up.

Nice shots. Its always good to have the summit to yourself. I saw similar patterns in the clouds on a very windy day at the end of November.
