Mike, Taco and I.....oh wait, Taco didn't make it up the road :P . Mike & Mike climbed a very windy and cold Mt. Baldy today with a nice fresh layer of snow. It was a whiteout above the bowl and we couldn't see our feet sometimes. We also ran into Patrick (Lilbitmo) and Shin (snmtbaldy).

I went up the regular way but turned around when I got into the clouds. I wasn't in the mood for getting pounded by the wind. :D Pictures are here

Great pictures as usual Mike! Curt and I were there on Saturday for our first try at Baldy and the bowl. We climbed for about 40 min and the visibility got pretty bad. We weren't 100% sure which direction to go so we turned around, but we plan to try again soon.
Thanks for the pics and GPS track.

Stacy- Thanks! Nice job climbing Baldy in those conditions and for turning around when you felt necessary.

Mike, nice job! i don't have high speed internet access here in Utah so i am growing old as i try and check emails and view this board. i can't look at all your pix until i get home but i love the view from the Baldy summit. it made me LOL! btw... i still haven't forgotten how you wen t up DBB in a storm a year or two ago. i hope to do that someday and hace the "nearly Denali experience" i'm sure it can be.

I think I am already on the ridge. I got to the ridge about the same time as the first group of skiers.
