Wondering about the snow conditions on Sunset Peak. Thinking about taking a newbie on Sunday. Anybody been to the top this week?

Thanks.

Is Glendora Ridge Road open yet? They don't plow that as quickly as GMR or Baldy Rd.

Good point, I will check. No point in going if GRR hasn't been cleared.

TR excerpt from a cyclist riding Baldy this past weekend:

"Rode GMR/GRR today, Sun. Jan 31, some wet road surface areas, some light snow on the ground outbound, melted by the time I headed back toward Glendora.

Snow is off to the side of the road above about 4,000 feet; heavier (but still on the roadside) up to 5,000 feet.

Lovely day on the mountain, no complaints."

Forgot to answer this. I came home via GRR-GMR. Open, all is well.

Thanks for that pic Mike. More snow on Sunset than I'd have thought.
