We started around 6:25 on Sunday and the road was nice and clean to Manker Flat. The trail was established by skiers and Ski hut host and its guests earlier. We used crampons just in case but the trail was very firm.
When we get to the Ski hut a hiker turned around because the snow was too powdery and the crampons were no use and he didn't have a snowshoe.
We headed up to right-hand side of Bowl, summer time scree field, to the summit with snowshoes. There were a few skiers and a few snow boarders on the trail with us. The snow was very deep but very manageable all the way to the summit. The weather was nice but the wind pick up near the summit.
The entire summit was covered with 6-7 feet deep of snow shaped like a huge table plateau. Someone dug a nice snow cave.
I'll attach the views from summit.
We went down the summer trail to Ski hut. We could used snowshoes almost entire slope. The snow was too wet for glissading.
This was the deepest snow season I have ever seen in five years.
We had a very nice Sunday at Mt. Baldy.

Wonderful. Thought the conditions would be too dangerous -- at Manker!
