Baldy Lodge Sunday 12-13-09 2PM
I will be at the Baldy Lodge on Sunday about 12:45 until about 7pm.
NOAA predicts rain all day Saturday, Saturday night and tapering off Sunday morning. I thought maybe an invite to the forum, will give a chance for some of us to meet, have a soda (AKA beer), maybe a light lunch. Maybe about 4pm a quick hike up to IHS and back down. Be sure to bring your headlamp.
Anyone?????
Other thoughts??????
Sooner time and catch a game or two before the hike? Does Baldy Lodge even have a TV?

I'll have to pick him up on the way. He found a stock sway bar to a Toyota SX-435T1-FH2 and I'll need to pry him away.Zach wrote:I'm in! I'll probably be bringing a friend of 2 up as well.

he's already socially awkward - maybe a hat to make him feel normal.TacoDelRio wrote:If Eric attends, he has to wear a strange hat that makes him feel socially awkward. These are the rules.
Won't the traffic be absolutely epic this weekend?

You guys should go into Manker with fake badges and start charging by the cubic foot for snow loaded into pickup trucks.

What is it with those people?! Most people dread shoveling snow away from their vehicle but here people spend hours packing their truck or mini van roof rack full of ice.bertfivesix wrote:You guys should go into Manker with fake badges and start charging by the cubic foot for snow loaded into pickup trucks.

I don't know. But I think a few members of the "LA County Natural Resources Management and Sales" office should start patrolling the area with cashboxes and receipt books.
