Beautiful place. We were last here 30 years ago when Susan was 7-8 months pregnant with our son, Roland.

We started out with a group of friends, but as they were much younger, our pace was slower. They were headed for the high country out of Evolution Valley in a hurry!

My wife was not in a hurry, unless you define "hurry" as "hurry up and stop!" So we spent the week camped out at the river's edge in Lower Blaney Meadows, and explored from there.

If you have never been on the Kaiser Pass Road out of Huntington Lake, the shot with our car in it makes it appear less than the awesome road it be!
