Haha - what was I just saying about never seeing bobcats??
This was taken on Feb 13th, at 8:55pm, just off the Condor Peak trail. Bob seems a little camera shy, so I'm not sure he'll be back, but we'll give it a couple of weeks and see. He's rolling in catnip, by the way.
I have some more videos of a fox at this location - it's interesting to see the size comparison. The bobcat is just slightly larger than the fox - I would guess about 15 pounds? I'll post the fox videos here shortly.
Trailcam bobcat - finally!

Thanks guys!
I'm revising my size estimate - this is a kitten! Gray foxes are only supposed to get to about 7 - 10 pounds. An adult bobcat should be 20 to 30. Comparing the videos, they're about the same size, so I bet it's less than a year old.

Thanks! I don't have any still pics of gray foxes - just video, and most of it is at night, so it's black & white.

How do I get some of that catnip?
You brought the broadest smile to my face since skiing St. Jac last Sunday.
Thank you!
