I do wonder about the parking situation...a lot of no parking signs in that area now. Im out of the ridge-brush guesswork for now..but on a couple of hikes(closest being Lynx Gulch), Ive been able to avoid any hardship, but that was only within 100ft of paved road. There was certainly heavy brush to be found though.

Thanks A-dubya :D. I'm pretty sure there is parking about .3 miles east of where Alder Creek crosses under the road. Any idea why they put up so many no parking signs in that area?
Yes, I know why...its from complaints. I dont know the exact specifics but they surround the topic of....solitude. If I can be more generic, let me know 8). The forest seems to be divided into segments. Some people want to be left alone and to others might seem to be of a different mental state? Im digging my own grave here without getting to the point so Ill stop.
Wanted to say that I didnt mean it was heavy brush once more than 100ft was gained...just thats all I went. Still was clear(dodging brush clear) well beyond that. The heavy brush would be something someone would want to inflict on themselves and travel to it.
