Isn't it comforting to know that when you are about to become a bear's breakfast your buddy is standing there taking photos.

You know what's sad? I can identify that tripod as a set of Ronford-Baker Mitchell Mount legs with a Sachtler fluid head.
So anyway, we're looking at a film crew and not a surveying team.

That's not a hungry bear that's a drunk bear and he wants the keys to his Ford Bronco, that's why he chasing the guy, he won't give em back his keys.

You guys need to pay closer attention :P

So, the guy runs around two vehicles and never thinks to hop in one?
Maybe the cameraman has the keys?

I know it's Polar Bear musical chairs - loser gets eaten!

To normal folks, any tripod with dual tube legs is a surveying tripod

I guess I'm pretty sad too because when I watched March of the Penguin BTS I kept saying, hey that's a Vinten on Gitzo sticks!

The best shot in this sequence is the 4th one where they're both peering over the top of the truck.

Well. They say if your being chased by a bear in the woods you only have to beat one guy!
If your the only one being chased, that presents a problem!

Apparently the photographer figured that out.

Shoot, I was about to send in an application before I saw the photos.

Seriously though, how could a guy beat a polar bear? A polar bear is way faster than a human being. The polar bear could probably go straight over the top of the Bronco if it wanted to. It'd be interesting to know how that story ended.
