My First Camera Trap Pics

My wife gave me a camera for Christmas! I set it up for the last few days at my house hoping to catch the huge bear that has been trashing the neighborhood lately. As you can see, I had an assortment of catches but did not get the bear. I'm ecstatic about the ringtail!

Bright tapetal reflections...

There was buck that was captured, too, but he wasn't completely in the picture.

Fleeting fox

This non-native SOB triggered a lot of pictures.

Pretty nice score on the ringtail!

When l first saw your post, I thought "your first camera?" "What?" Then I realized that you meant a "trapping" type camera.

Can't do any better than Reconyx, and your location/setup is great.

I know... that was ridiculous catching the ringtail on the camera's first gig. Should've bought a lottery ticket that day, too...

Yup, the bobcats are fairly regular visitors. This is the same spot where the mountain lion was hanging around when we chatted a year or so ago. This path is also a fox "superhighway".

Thanks! I'm going to bring in the camera when it rains, though.
