midnight walk up baldy
got that call around 1215am.....by 130 we were parking at the port-a-pottys....no moon out , lots of stars, quiet and warm little to no wind. something above was sending rocks down, seemed like we were being followed. not really scared but was excited...on the way towards the notch my bro stepped on...

i met him and his dog at red box after getting down from strawberry
i hooked him up with some lunch and a few bowls..he told me its pretty crazy living in the mounatins but with his dog he is pretty happy..good guy

i have always wanted to do it and this week looks pretty good.

the east fork is beautiful....when my lil bro called me up at around 3pm he was very very excited..the night before he got off work at midnight and went out with his wife for drinks and they didnt get home till 4am then he played online games till 7am when she woke up cause they had a family reunion...

my friend needed a dog sitter so i agreed.....i had no idea how strong this animal is.....wow.....since the dog has neverbeen on trail i decided to break her in.....she did fine.....she didnt poop or bite anyone....thats good enough to hike with me......the dog almost jumped in a tree over a cliff t...

thanks for the reply....do you think they would be fine to get me up baldy via ski huttrail and jacinto from tram station...those would be my first steps to see if i really enjoy the winter hikes....

no it wasnt altitude..if it was i would have stayed anywhere at a lower elevation.on the way up she was coughing a lil bit but nothing major. as much as i hated to leave im glad we did..at home all night she had fever and earache and just felt bad....if we would have been up high she would have had ...
