Nice work. You need good brakes for a caper like this.
I have not seen any bikes on the Skyline trail yet :) for obvious reasons.
I read something about a handicapped person using a hand powered bike to go up Mt Kilimanjaro.

Two other groups went up Big Iron via the Baldy traverse. They started at Baldy Village.
One was a Sierra Club group and the other party was Rick Kent, Gigamike and Rick Graham.

Great trip report. Thanks for reminding me why I stopped hiking Iron Mtn in favor of Skyline where you can take the tram down. That descent is truly brutal on a tired body.
