Re: Switzer Falls Canyon Querry

Hardly any flow but the silt is gone. Trail is fine, although we did hear a small rockslide whilst entering the canyon. The trail repair crew must have hit it pretty hard. Thank you!

Switzer Falls Canyon Querry

Can anyone please enlighten me about the current (post deluge) Switzer Falls trail conditions, as well as those of the falls themselves? Are there indeed falls or did they silt up even more?

Big Horn Sightings(s) on Baldy

On Saturday past, I arrived at the summit to a most pleasant surprise: a lone, healthy looking ewe. More to my surprise, was my 25 yard encounter with a ram below the hut on my descent. Quite the double header!

Thanks for the responses. A friend was scouting for a photo shoot. I think they went the transportable route.

Re: How do I keep coyotes out of my yard?

Get a couple of kegs and invite all of your buds to come over.
Tell them the toilet is clogged and ask them to relieve themselves on the perimeter of your property. Then the coyotes will smell a pack....

[I was once told that is effective against deer in VT...]
Good luck.

FWIW -- and you didn't offer me the talking stick -- but anyway here goes... have you thought about Josh as an alternative desert destination? Or are you seeking solitude? The Borrego Palm Canyon Trail to as far as you feel comfortable scrambling is an excellent intro to the park. The visitor's cent...

Pestilence Canyon appears to have a certain "appropriateness" to it!
Tecnu is a ticket to avoid PO. If you apply it quickly and properly -- and the gods are with you.
