Just bought a club card from the Mt. Baldy Resort, so hopefully the snow year will continue to be good. Haven't got one since '05 winter. Excited for some steep & deep resort skiing tomorrow. I'm sure traffic will be a mess. Beautiful Saturday morning!! I hope 406 didn't get catch the Baldy Tun...

I assumed the rescue guys would have first sent a man down to steady the victim from the helo's downdraft.
Instead it looks like they just hovered over him and hoisted him in.

Alcohol and mountaineering = dangerous mix. Trust me, they were'nt drinking. They were born that way. Taco may have some Sake or a single beer at times, but only during a camp or after a hike. He insists on mainaining all his faculties during outings, regardless of the impression from this video .....
