Ah! good point. And i guess since itsa really small town it'd be fine (quiet i mean) Its not like yer 1.6 mi from downtown i suppose. And the lodge has rootbeer floats! theyre really good :D *also, On both Sunday and Tuesday I drank right out of the creek there and have no issues. its good water.......

its like that on skihut higher up too! trails everywhere! my first time up there Wednesday i was like WTF? which is the real trail....shit wanders all over, I just tried to stay on the one with the most footprints

Longcut...yeah, but you can sleep in a lot...head up at noon or even 1pm n make it back. Hell, i started from san antonio falls tha other day after 4pm, got to the summit befor 6pm, and ran down in half the time, was back at car by 715pm.....and the way i was gonna go sunday is only like 3-4 miles m...

Im'a go that way on Sunday if anyone else wantsta go too :) i have no time set , so whenever. Ide like to start earlier than i did when i went up ski hut and down Devils backbone the other day, i didnt start til like 4pm then. maybe start this route at like 10 or something...

Finally I am in W. Covina long enough to go up mt baldy! it was fun, ive never been up there. I started timing at san antonio falls where the pavement ends, went to ski hut tr. ...passed a lil green house at .45 minutes (i just walked that whole part, to rocky in most spots...jogged where i could......

hmmmm, it only lets me cut and paste a link.....how do i make it show as a picture like you guys do? as opposed to a link to the picture? WHO owns one here? I have one, brand new, sooo.... How do I make it put the trails I ran onto the computer? I am having difficulty figuring it out, the Garmin sight doesnt explain it in my language, which is English....not computer ...I got on thier website, signed up, plugged the garmin into my PC ...

Yea, Im real excited to be going there! everyones told me its a great Hotel. And the location looks cool. AW- the public isnt an issue really, Ive learned that once I get even as little as 1-2 miles from trailheads, i hardly see any tourists....And once im 5 miles out, im pretty much alone, Its why i love running, It gets me away from all the average people in just 15minutes or so :D as to canyoneering,...

So, there will be no more boring old pix of the Grand Canyon, as I got hired at Yosemite and start there in June! Once I get there, i will be sure to post too many pix of trails, bears, and rock climbing trips 8)
