Cool! maybe if no one will go with us who has a car, i can get a rental car so we can go to mormon rocks, it'd only cost 30 bucks to get one for a day. I wanna go there.

Ha! the worst storm of the year is supposed to hit us hard on Saturday! (the day of our run) Now things'll get fun! we should have freezing rain, wind and snow. Sweet. NOW its an adventure

Speak for yourself dood. Im a housekeeper. Im runnin around all day, carrying sheets n towels (Huge 10-25lb stacks of em) up n down stairs at the hotel all day, and clean 10-14 rooms a day. I NEVER get to sit down, we dont even get a lunch-break. Then, after 6-8 hrs of that, I walk home, change into...

Yay snakes! I like snakes! I havent seen any out here...well, 1 last year, but I used to see rattlesnakes, and others, all the time running out in the santa rosas an' san J area.

OOps, i did my math wrong. I average 2.85mph. Its 6.9 miles, i do it in 2hr 25 minutes. So, that minutes converts ta 2.42 in decimal chart....blah blah blah, maths.....so ya, im doin 2.85mph, thats more like it! I still wanna get to 2hr 10 min sumday, so i gotta lose a lil more than 2 minutes per mi...

Ok! cool, I'll try biking, theres no hills here on the rim, and you cant ride in the canyon, but i can go to the company gym and use their exercise bike with lotsa resistance i suppose.... along with runnin it more often

Ran the canyon again yesterday, no matter what I do, I cant seam to get up that "wall" (the Kaibab trail) at anything faster than 2.33.. MPH :( Any advice from other runners to get faster on this? It gains 4800ft in 6.9 miles, so maybe thats just as fast as it gets without being younger??-...
