Sunday morning we left drizzly L.A. and discovered the Waterman trailhead had 3 feet of snow, blue-bird skies, and sunshine! We peeled off layers and were still overheating on the climb up. A warm storm on Saturday wetted the powder a bit, but the snow was soft and forgiving by the time we descended...
