They’re pretty tall and pointy. You could fall pretty far! Also I think they might have snow and be just as deadly scary dangerous murder death kill as baldy. Nooooo, that’s not possible! Nothing is as dangerous as Baldy! That’s why it’s closed, because it makes sense!

Next weekend is my last free weekend, then work, then no saturdays off.

I know of the shortcut. I should probably go up the normal way by myself soon on the bike to see how bad it is. Alternate is very steep but lacks tree-swimming.

Woke up at the 8300ft bivy on Mt Patterson. Excellent bivy spot right off the road with zero traffic and a beautiful view of snowy Patterson and others. Dead silent up there all night. No animals, no people, only the contrails of eastbound flights lit up ...
