Does anyone know how to export a goggle earth flyby movie? Here is an example of what I would like to do (large file).

I would love to be able to fly along my GPS tracks at a set elevation, and make a movie.

Re: BALDY - Archive of Mt. Baldy-related Discussions
Yeah, I am really pissed. I was ignoring the yucca thorn in hopes it would work it way out, but during my warmup hike it got really sore and swollen. It was starting to get infected. I finally got it out today, had to soak the area is salt water and dug it out with a pin and tweezers. If I wasn't ab...

Are there any other events like the Mount Baldy Run?
I did not know about the Mount Baldy event until I read Augie's excellent Trip Report: http://www.summitpost.org/trip-report/3 ... e-Top.html.
Are there any other event like this in the San Gabriel Mnts? I would like to post such events here.

Re: Image from Gallery
You need to have the photo you want uploaded somewhere online, and enter the address in the space that you see when you click profile. However, the image needs to be 120 x 120 pixel in size and 8 kb large. If you want me to edit your image and put it online for you I can, just e-mail me the photo yo...

Re: Google Earth buttonology
I've noticed that Google Earth won't display all tracks or paths simultaneously. Is this correct? One has to deselect others until the track or path you want to view appears? :?: I have not had this problem, can you give me an example of when you would have multiple tracks open so I can try? I almo...

Hi, all. Thanks for setting up the forum. I plan to visit it often. How about a sticky post with links to websites that users might find helpful: like Steve Larson's overview of San Gabriels on SP, other local climbing/hiking sites (mtsanjacinto.info, ODC, sgwa.org, etc.). sounds like a good idea t...

Re: BALDY - Archive of Mt. Baldy-related Discussions
After a bit of a reality check on Sunday, I have decided that I personally am not going to go for all 13 peaks. I am going to drop Pine and Dawson and start 1 hour later at 5 pm. Of course any of you can attempt the original 13, this hike is totally open to do what you please. So the plans are to me...
