Check out Salmon creek Falls or Peppermint Creek falls. North of lake Isabella on Mountain99 road . Remington Hot Springs is nice too but the crowds may not be family friendly :)

The trail was in good shape about a month ago. There were three small washouts after the Cucamonga Wilderness boundry.

I was up at the end of Haven Ave today checking out a waterfall in Bull Canyon. Almost made it to the falls when we saw brand new black pipes put in with freshly stamped grass trails. Right when we saw that we turned tail out of there. I guess I will wait till winter to explore some canyons now :evi...

Yeah the 39 seems to be a favorite for the "farmers" It is a huge watershed and close to L.A.

Try the California riding and Hiking Trail in Joshua Tree N.P. You can park at the trail head on Geology Tour Road and go whatever way you want.
