Awesome report and great photos! I love that area... every lake seems to have its own personality.

My personal favorite would be Ediza Lake below the Minarets and Mt Ritter, hands down.

Finally got up and explored Falling Rock Canyon yesterday. Some really fun Class 3 scrambly stuff, and overall not nearly as difficult as I thought it'd be. Pretty steep once you exit the canyon and head up to Ontario, but definitely preferable to hiking up Icehouse Blvd on a Saturday morning. Nice ...
