I'm going to avoid the AllTrails site from now on--they claimed this was "difficult." Well, I'll keep looking in the area. Thank you SO MUCH for the links!!!

For all the links and for seeing what I couldn't--will try it once I find someone to hike it with and if it's decent I'll post something here (though it's not technically the San Gabriels)

I don't know either, but when I check it out I'll bring back information (in case anyone else is stuck out in this area and would like a nearby hike)

Has anyone ever hiked Burnt Peak (one of the few trails I could find in the Lancaster/Santa Clarita area)? I see it on AllTrails.com but there are no comments or photos. Just wondered, since I live so close.

We hiked Pacifico a few weeks ago, not realizing it was closed--someone told us that most of the trail was buried, so we took the access road to the top. I heard it was open now, but I can't quite tell from looking at the map.

I don't know if Mt. Wilson or Pacifico Mtn count, but I'm a beginner . Wanted to post something here to keep my account active. Nice to be here!
