Update: As of 9/16/2017, no water is flowing from the pipe at Kelly's Camp. I had to backtrack to Columbine Spring to fill up on water.

This sounds like a great idea. I unfortunately can't go, but I hope everyone has a blast.

I've exited Bailey Canyon Park an hour past sunset once or twice without incident. From what I remember, the gate was never closed. Just in case, I wouldn't park inside lest the gate is locked. Wow, those are some nice pictures from a cell phone camera. The great thing about the San Gabriel Mountains is that regardless of the type of camera you use, the pictures will still inspire.
