This is the same "slippery-slope" pseudo-argument the gaybashers use - is pot the same as cocaine, E, heroin, etc.?

Re: pot in cow canyon

Even if you make pot legal in California, the Mexican Cartels aren't going to give up smuggling and killing and get jobs at Walmart. There will still be millions of dollars to be made. No there won't, not if an ounce really goes down to $40 or something near that. Do these guys ever smuggle beer in...

Anyone know how far the highway is REALLY open from down in Azusa? The Cal Trans site is (I think) useless as it says the road is closed from 6.5 miles south of Coldbrook, but I've read on here that its actually opened farther.

Oh. Shoulda figured that from the other thread - MtnMan I'm not bashing the forest service, I just refuse to believe that was really the best we could do on the station fire. If it was, well then we're not going to have any forest left next time.

Past history has almost always had Buckhorn open around, or the week before Memorial Day. I've also been keeping tabs on it for a few weeks now from the many acquaintances I have in the USFS . And lastly, I live, work and play around these areas, so I tend to be pretty tuned into what's going on. :...

Not looking good for getting up through La Canada for awhile, either. Thought it would be mid-November, but now the mid-November date is just to get up to Angeles Forest Hwy. (This is all from Mt Waterman's facebook page.)
