Re: Mines in the San Gabriels

Ya I was looking at your TR and was actually using that to go off of. Thanks a lot guys. The mines up there are pretty rad, hoping to maybe get out and explore some more of em.

Probably gonna head up the east fork, I like water more than Yucca.

Mines in the San Gabriels

Looking to explore some more of the mines up here. I know some are pretty hard to get to (some of the "lost mines" of iron, etc.), and some are very easy to get to. Looking for something in the middle. Anyone suggest any one in particular? Heading up this Tuesday, looking for a one day aff...

Re: Snake spooked 2...

It's thin in places though, especially around t...

Re: Baldy Bowl and Ski Hut Trail

Thanks man. Gonna head up on Tuesday, hike up top either way, just wanted to try to mess around with the crampons a bit to get some experience, we'll see how it goes. Thanks for the info though.

Re: Baldy Bowl and Ski Hut Trail

Hey guys Just posted a similar topic over on SP, but thought I'd try my luck here. I am an experienced hiker/climber with very little snow experience. Just came into my first pair of crampons (from EnFuego actually, thanks man), and am curious as to how the snow is looking on Baldy. It will be my fi...
