Congradulations on going back and finishing the trip. MR is one of those routes I try and do 3-5 times a year - although only once this year due to foot injury. I prefer the left side of the snow/ice of the final 400 - but it is easy to miss where to turn to hit ridgeline - maybe this would help. ht...

you should read the Telescope trip report sometime - from Badwater via Porter-Sentinel-Telescope hike down to the kilns to a bicycle he stashed the day before and then bike the 26+miles back to Balarat - water 1 qt and a red bull for that extra energy midway through the trip - that is an overnighter...

thanks all for looking for my GPS - I feel like such a bone head sometimes. There were still groups going up as we were back at the ski hut so somebody on Saturday afternoon probably picked it up.
