I have a quick connect on the hydration sleeve which I fill as needed. Then fill 2 , 2 liter PLATY BOTTLEs one for dinner one for breakfast. I also drink one 1 ...

Re: Solar Chargers
Hiking long distance always moving during the day I don't a lot of time to layout a solar panel. I have hung the Anker 21w on my pack while moving.
I think just using a battery pack and power management is better

A coworker told me a friend of his was one of the injured evacuated. Nearing the top his crampons didn't grip the rock hard ice, nor did his ice axe help much, he slid about 600ft. worst of it is several broken ribs, one of which had to be removed because it poked a hole in his lung No helmet though...

The creek below the old fire camp had a sign there at one time "Poison Creek" I don't know why this moniker was selected bt it never made it very appealing to me I made this 7 miles from Angeles Forest Highway https://eispiraten.com/images-archived/gallery.myff.org/gallery/1852857/Poison C...

I assume there is no water along that entire stretch, including at North Fork or Messenger Flats, but if that is inaccurate, I'd be happy to know that.
