I did a jog up that fire road from Lake Hughes Road a couple of years ago and saw the same mine shaft. Has anyone actually explored that adit? I remember there being a bunch of water in it, but I didn't expect to see it and wasn't planning on going in.

I don't go to Baldy often. I think I saw one person on register ridge when I took that rout. There is a rout you can take that connects to back bone trail from the north for of Lytle Creek, which I took.
